Sunmark Credit Union Announces Promotion of John Prividera to Chief Experience Officer
Sunmark Credit Union announced today the promotion of John Prividera to Chief Experience Officer (CXO). In this role, he is responsible for strategic leadership of Sunmark’s 16 financial centers and its Member Solution Center, as well as community development, facilities, loan servicing, and the Sunmark Member Resolution Center.
Since joining Sunmark in 2023 as Vice President of Member Experience, John quickly made his mark on the credit union, re-imagining the business model for Sunmark’s financial centers and building out its community development program. He holds over 30 years of progressive financial institution management experience, including leadership roles at NBT Bank, Berkshire Bank, First Niagara Bank, M&T Bank, and Key Bank.

John holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Empire State College. He has served on the boards of Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless; Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce; Big Brothers, Big Sisters; Boys and Girls Clubs of Albany, Inc.; and Junior Achievement of NENY.
